Cefpirome Sulphate & Sulbacatam for injection 750mg
Cefpirome Sulphate & Sulbactam 750mg is a veterinary injectable combination of two active pharmaceutical ingredients: Cefpirome Sulphate (a cephalosporin antibiotic) and Sulbactam (a beta-lactamase inhibitor). This formulation is primarily used for treating bacterial infections in animals, particularly those caused by susceptible organisms.
Key Components:
Cefpirome Sulphate:
A fourth-generation cephalosporin, Cefpirome is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, ultimately leading to the death of the bacteria.
It is particularly potent against multi-drug resistant organisms.
Sulbactam:
Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that helps prevent the breakdown of cefpirome by certain bacteria producing beta-lactamase enzymes, thereby enhancing the efficacy of Cefpirome.
It extends the spectrum of Cefpirome to include bacteria resistant to be...

It extends the spectrum of Cefpirome to include bacteria resistant to beta-lactam antibiotics.
Indications:
This injectable is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections in animals, including but not limited to:
Respiratory infections (e.g., pneumonia)
Urinary tract infections
